In the world of sports memorabilia, there are few items that stir as much excitement as rare baseball cards. And in the upcoming PWCC December Premier Auction, two of the most coveted cards from the T206 set, known as the Big Four, are up for grabs, attracting the attention of collectors worldwide.

One of the standout items in this auction is an SGC 1 graded T206 Eddie Plank card. This card, one of only 39 to receive a grade from SGC, with an additional 21 graded by PSA, holds immense value and rarity. Despite showing signs of age and wear, including paper loss, creasing, and corner and edge damage, the Plank card remains an undisputed gem. Its appearance at auction is a noteworthy event, marking the fourth time this year that a Plank card has been made available for purchase. Previous sales include an SGC 1 Plank card that fetched $75,000 last February and a PSA 2.5 variant that commanded $168,000 in August.

Joining the Plank card is the PSA 2 graded Sherry "Magie" error card. This card is another prestigious item from the T206 set, featuring a misspelling of Sherry Magee's last name. It stands alongside the T206 Honus Wagner and “NY Nat’l” Joe Doyle cards as one of the most renowned rarities in the collection.

Beyond these historic items, the PWCC December Premier Auction also features an impressive array of Michael Jordan cards, a testament to the enduring legacy and popularity of the basketball legend. The Jordan collection includes some notable highlights:

- 1997 Metal Universe Championship Precious Metals (#/50) graded BGS 9

- 1998 Skybox Premium Star Rookies (#/50) graded PSA 8

- 1997 Skybox E-X 2001 Essential Credentials Future (#/72) graded PSA 9

- 1984-85 Star Company XRC in both PSA 8 and BGS 9 grades

Additionally, the auction presents modern hockey treasures, such as the 2015-16 Upper Deck The Cup Gold Foil Connor McDavid RPA (#/12) and the 2005 Upper Deck The Cup Sidney Crosby RPA (#/99), both graded BGS 8.

The auction, which has already begun, will continue accepting bids until December 21st. This offers collectors a rare opportunity to own a piece of sports history, whether it's a legendary baseball card or a sought-after Michael Jordan or hockey collectible. Don't miss out on this chance to add something truly special to your collection.
